Stacey Hansford wins Vanuatu Ocean swim
Stacey Hansford from Australia tipped out Nick Cordner to win the 2009 Vanuatu Ocean swim.
The two swam neck and neck for the 3.2km journey around Iririki island, with Stacey touching a mere one second ahead of Nick.

Nick Cordner takes out Espiritu Santo swim
Nick Cordner from Victoria, Australia has taken out the 2009 Aore Espiritu Santo Ocean swim.
Following his one-second defeat in the Vanuatu Ocean swim Nick appeared determined to win the Espiritu Santo swim conducted four days later.
Nick covered the 2.6km journey across the Segond Channel in 32:55 min to beat Stacey Hansford.

Vanuatu Ocean swimmer donates to Vila Central Hospital
David Smith and his wife, Gayle, own a retail garden store called "Smithies" .
The couple have been operating for 29 years in a small town called Waiuku about 70 Km out of Auckland New Zealand.
In 2007 they came to Vanuatu on holiday and Gayle, who has kidney disease, fell ill and was treated at the Vila Central Hospital.This was what made them realize the needs of the Port Vila Hospital.
