Fiji Ocean Swim
The 2012 Fiji Ocean Swim Festival will be held from October 26th - 29th at Plantation Resort on beautiful Malolo Lai Lai Island.
Located in Fiji’s Mamanuca (mama-nu-tha) Group situated to the north west of Nadi International Airport the island is the perfect Pacific setting for ocean swimming: warm clear waters, pristine reefs, colourful tropical fish and coral, all against a backdrop of blue ocean and the jagged peaks of distant islands.
There are two swims on the first competition day (Saturday).
Fiji Ocean Swim Series 2012 Dates
Changes to Fiji Ocean Swim Series Dates.
The 2012 Fiji Ocean Swim Series will now commence on June 9th and will feature 6 events with 2 at Natadola Beach 2 at Pacific Harbour, 1 at Nacula, Yasawa Islands and the final event held as part of the Fiji Ocean Swim at Plantation Island at the end of October.
This is the third year that the series has been held and is proving popular among local swimmers and an increasing number of overseas swimmers combining a short holiday with the chance to take part in an ocean race in some of the world's most beautiful waters.
The format for the series is a choice of 1km, 2.5km and 5km all held on the same day. The final Series event will be the Fiji Ocean Swim In October where there will be a choice of 1.5km or 3km on Saturday 27th and 10km on Sunday 28th
The series has given many local junior swimmers in Fiji the opportunity to try swimming in the ocean for the first time.
Series venues include Natadola (pictured right), Pacific Harbour, Nacula in the Yasawa Islands and Malolo Lailai in the Mamanucas

Our Swim Safaris are exclusive guided swim, adventure and cultural experiences in some of the more remote and beautiful places in the Pacific.
